Biografia dell’autore

Chia-Ying Lin è una compositrice taiwanese, vincitrice del Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize (2018). Si è formata alla TNUA con Tsung-Hsien Yang, alla University of Manchester con Philip Grange e al Conservatorio “S. Cecilia” con Matteo D’Amico; perfezionamenti con Peter Eötvös, alla Philharmonia/RPS Composers Academy (Unsuk Chin) e all’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia con Ivan Fedele. Dal 2015 ottiene riconoscimenti internazionali (tra cui Jean Sibelius e Piero Farulli). Tra le uscite: Chanson Perpétuelle (Orchid Classics, elogiata dal Sunday Times) e The Gaze (T-MAP); le orchestrali Occultra e Sūtra sono registrate dalla National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra; il Quartetto per archi è pubblicato da Ricordi (2015).
